Many of us have a particularly close friend that you could open your heart to about anything without feeling judged. I have one of those friends and she and I could talk till the cows come home. We respect each other's decisions and are there for each other when we need a little advice. We share our hopes and dreams, the things that make us sad and the times of great joy. Across such distances that divides us now, we can still pick each other up off the floor when we've hit the ground, by a phone call, card, or letter. We know each other's song in our hearts and can play it back when we've forgotten the tune.
I miss my Best Friend, but she knows in her heart how much I love, adore and cherish her and her family.
Send a card to your Best Friend and let them know that you are thinking of them. Create one yourself as a personal touch is just so much more heartfelt because you've made it just for them. Sending a card 'just because' is also a nice suprise that will bring a smile to your friend's face.
